We're a small team of walkers, but that doesn't mean you'll see us with 20 dogs at a time. in fact, not even 2 at a time. Your dog has all our attention.

No cancellation fees

We know it happens. just email, text or call us even at the last second.
No questions asked, and we won't charge you or get grumpy with you.

One dog, one walker

Unless one of us is sick, on holiday or just really can't make it that day, your dog will have his or her dedicated walker. No crazy turnover. No "Oh hi, who the hell are you" every week.

Poop report

We'll leave a note after each walk or pet sitting, to tell you how it all went.

Prices shown are for regular Mon-Fri walks. Extra dog: add $5.

In case an official weather advisory is issued for Manhattan, our services might not be guaranteed.

All extra fees will be discussed beforehand, unless unable to do so (sudden heath wave, etc)..

Hi, I’m Max and I’m a dog walker and cat sitter. Over 20 years ago, I became a volunteer for Kitty Kind and Mighty Mutts, two great associations that help rescuing pets here in the city.

When I moved to New York I used a few dog walking and pet sitting companies for my puppy Jake and for my cat Erik, but I soon discovered the reality of the business: group walking, high turnover of inexperienced dog walkers and your pet’s priorities at the bottom of the list.

So I decided I would take care of pets with my own philosophy and rules: only walk one pet at a time, no cancellation fees, and daily updates by email.

Because at the end of the day, it's not just about walking dogs, it's about becoming their mentor, best friend and playmate. It's about creating a bond.
That’s what makes me different.

Having just moved into the city, I was worried about how my dog Bailey would adjust. She was not very well socialized as a puppy and not used to the sights and sounds of the big apple.All my fears were put at ease once Max started walking Bailey. If you are looking for a friendly and reliable dog walker, Max is your guy. I totally trust him entering my apartment when I am not home to take my dog for a walk. He is very reliable and easy to get a hold of. He also loves animals which is apparent in the way he interacts with my dog Frankie. I have been using Max as my cat sitter for the past two years. He always keeps me informed and assures me that my kitty is ok. I tend to worry because she is 19, but Max always takes such good care of her. I know he brushes her regularly because her fur looked especially nice this time when I returned from my vacation. I have no problem recommending Max to anyone who needs pet care.
